Vector Based Artwork
Bitmaps & Photographs

If you are sending a digital file, we can accept it several different formats. The most preferable formats would be:

Freehand ver. 8 or lower (mac) Illustrator ver. 6 or lower (mac) Illustrator ver. 6 or lower (PC) CorelDraw ver.8 or lower (PC)

The above programs are all "vector based" programs and are the most ideal for textile screen printing. It is important to note that whatever format you send the image in, to do the following:

Convert file to "Curves" (so we don't need the same Fonts) Use PMS colors (Pantone Matching System) and give the numbers of those colors. It's also recommended that you send the image the size you would like it printed (Less than 13 inches square).

Photographs sent as a digital file must be save as one of the following extensions:

BMP, JPG, TIF, or PSD

We use Photoshop 6.0 and can therefore open a variety of different images, but the ones recommended above are the most common. The most important thing to remember when sending photograph or bitmap is that we must have a large file to work with. We recommend at least 300 dpi at the size that the image is to be printed.

This can make the image extremely large and cumbersome to send via email, therefore you may need to bring the image in on a zip disk.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send us an email or give us a call.
